Under this major policy update, eligible students can now support their partners for full-time Open Work Visas and secure domestic student visas for their dependent children.
1. Core Policy Update
Eligible Courses: Level 7-8 Bachelor's or Honours degrees.
Eligible Fields: Green List occupations predominantly focused on health and social services.
Benefits: Partners are eligible for an Open Work Visa, and dependent children can apply for domestic student visas.
2. Eligible Green List Professions
The updated policy applies to the following registered professions:
Healthcare & Nursing: Nursing, Midwifery, Medical Laboratory Science, Dental Therapy, Dental Technology, Medicine, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Medical Imaging Technology, and Podiatry.
Social & Allied Health: Psychology, Chiropractic, and Counselling.
Education & Social Services: Social Work, Early Childhood Teaching, and Secondary School Teaching.
