Release Time:2024-10-31 Browse:1

Air Canada has announced plans to expand its direct flight services between China and Canada. Beginning December 7, the airline will increase its Vancouver–Shanghai flights from four to seven per week. In addition, starting January 15, 2025, Air Canada will resume daily round-trip flights between Vancouver and Beijing, offering seven flights per week.

At the same time, Chinese airlines are also accelerating applications for additional direct flight routes between the two countries.

The increase in direct flights by both Chinese and Canadian carriers is expected to better support growing demands for travel, business cooperation, and people-to-people exchanges. It will also further promote the recovery and development of the China–Canada aviation market.

Following several rounds of discussions and coordination between the civil aviation authorities of China and Canada, both sides have officially launched the expanded direct flight program.
