Victoria University (VU) Admissions Update
- Offer Deferrals: For students who have already received an offer, approval for deferral is not guaranteed. Applications will be re-assessed based on the student's current circumstances and eligibility.
- Early Childhood Education (GD & Master): Packaged offers for Graduate Diploma and Master of Teaching (Early Childhood) are not guaranteed. Students may initially receive an offer for the Graduate Diploma only.
- Onshore Visa Restrictions: Applicants currently in Australia on Visitor Visas (Subclass 600) or Temporary Activity Visas (Subclass 408) are ineligible to apply for VU onshore.
- Processing Times: The standard admission turnaround time is approximately 3 weeks. Priority will be given to applicants whose current visas are nearing expiration.
- Recent Refusal Cases: Please note that applications may be declined based on historical precedents, such as:
- Students holding a 485 visa while enrolled in a GD, whose subsequent Student Visa application was refused.
- Failure to complete the required medical examination within the designated timeframe.
