To expedite the application process for the Semester 2, 2024 intake, the University of Queensland is piloting AI technology to issue Automated Conditional Offers to eligible applicants.
Important Note: An Automated Conditional Offer is issued prior to a formal manual assessment of your documents. A full review by the admissions team will only occur once all required supporting documents are submitted.
Key Information for Applicants:
Notification Process: Offers will be sent directly via email. If the offer does not immediately appear in your application portal, please do not be concerned; the portal typically updates a few business days after the email notification is sent.
Language Requirements: You may receive a Conditional Offer even if you have already submitted valid English proficiency results. Once all requirements are met, you can upload your documents and proceed to accept the offer directly in the system.
Transition to Full Offer: Students holding an Automated Conditional Offer who meet all specified conditions can accept it immediately. The University will not issue a separate "Full Offer" document.
Major Selection: For programs requiring a major selection, the specific major will not be listed on the automated offer. This will be confirmed upon enrollment. If you do not meet the specific requirements for your chosen major, the University will notify you separately.
Final Assessment: Formal verification of your final eligibility will generally take place once you provide proof of direct entry English proficiency or confirm your English Language bridging course.
How to Expedite Processing: Once all final documents (academic transcripts, English results, passport, etc.) are uploaded, students are encouraged to click "Accept" in the portal. This triggers a notification to the admissions team to prioritize your final review. Please do not click accept if you have not yet met all conditions.
