In response to the recent international student caps introduced by the Australian government, please be advised of an important update regarding course availability at Sydney Taylor College for students progressing to the University of Sydney in 2026.
1. Program Availability Update
Sydney Taylor College is no longer accepting new enrollments for the USFP (University of Sydney Preparation Programs) paired with the Bachelor of Commerce or any combined Bachelor of Commerce degrees commencing in Term 1, 2025 (progressing to the University of Sydney in Semester 1, 2026).
Applications for all other courses and programs remain open and unaffected.
2. Status of Existing Offers
Confirmed Enrollees: This change does not affect any students who have already accepted their offers for the 2025 USFP/Bachelor of Commerce (or combined degrees) and have received a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).
Pending Enrollees: For students currently awaiting a Confirmation of Enrolment, Sydney Taylor College is carefully reviewing your study options and will provide an update next week.
3. Students Meeting Progression Requirements
This decision does not impact students at Taylor College who meet their academic progression requirements. These students will continue to be guaranteed their packaged degree places at the University of Sydney in 2025.
For students who have not met the academic entry requirements for their packaged degree, staff from both Taylor College and the University of Sydney are available to help explore alternative study options and pathways.
