Massey University has officially released its Toroa Scholarship policy for international students entering in 2025. This merit-based scholarship supports high-achieving global students starting their undergraduate or postgraduate journeys in New Zealand.

💰 Scholarship Value & Allocation

Undergraduate Support: NZ$ 5,000 for the first year.
Undergraduate Quota: Semester 1 (45 slots) | Semester 2 (40 slots).
Postgraduate Support: NZ$ 5,000 for the first year.
Postgraduate Quota: Semester 1 (25 slots) | Semester 2 (25 slots).

📋 Eligibility Criteria

Student Status: New international students securing direct admission.
Study Mode: Full-time, on-campus study in New Zealand.
Credit Requirement: Enrolling in the first 120 credits of the degree.
Academic Threshold: Proven academic excellence with a minimum GPA of "B" or equivalent.

⚠️ Important Conditions & Exclusions

Application Deadline: Applications must be submitted before November 17.
Selection Basis: Competitive selection awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
Excluded Programs: Graduate Diplomas (GD), PhDs, and College of Creative Arts programs.
Payment Deadline: Winners must pay full tuition or a NZ$ 500 deposit within two weeks of the offer.
Forfeiture Rule: Late payments forfeit the scholarship to the next eligible applicant.
