Release Time:2024-05-30 Browse:2

Following a recent policy update from the UK Government regarding the Higher Education Classification of Subjects (HECoS), Cranfield University has introduced a mandatory Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) certificate requirement for the MSc Aerospace Manufacturing program.

Key Updates & Requirements:
  • ATAS Certificate: Students must now receive their ATAS certificate before the university can issue a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number.
  • Application Process: The university's Admissions team will email affected applicants this week with instructions. Please advise students to check their inboxes.
  • Affected Programs: The university is continuously monitoring whether other programs are affected by this expansion of UK government screening mechanisms. We will provide immediate updates as new information becomes available.

Should students require assistance with the CAS process, late-arrival requests, or need to discuss alternatives, please contact us directly for support. The program also offers a March intake. If the current situation delays enrolment, students may apply to defer their study to the spring intake.
