LONDON — Goldsmiths, University of London has officially updated its accepted English language qualifications for the 2024 Pre-Sessional English (PSE) programmes.
All 2024 Pre-Sessional English courses at Goldsmiths will be delivered fully online, offering maximum flexibility for international students. In addition to the standard UKVI IELTS, the university now accepts a broader range of alternative online and offline english tests.
Expanded List of Accepted Tests
Students can fulfill their pre-sessional entry requirements using any of the following qualifications:
- UKVI IELTS
- Non-UKVI IELTS
- IELTS One Skill Retake
- TOEFL iBT
- PTE Academic
- Cambridge Certificates (CAE and CPE)
- Duolingo English Test (Newly added for 2024)
- LanguageCert Academic (Specific restrictions apply)
Key Program Restrictions
- LanguageCert Policy: Only the Academic version of LanguageCert is accepted.
- Exclusion Routes: LanguageCert Academic cannot be used to apply for pre-sessional courses linked to International Foundation Certificates, Graduate Diplomas, or the BA Fine Art Extension programme.
